EU coup prepared: – This is how activists want to hijack the Eurovision final!

EU supporters want to hijack the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool on Saturday!

While Austrian contestants Teya & Salena are still trembling whether they will live up to the early praise and actually win the number one place predicted by the betting shops in the second semi-final on Thursday night and make it to the final, UK EU supporters are gearing up for a major coup.

Anti-Brexit activists want to hijack the competition and hand out EU flags, which will hopefully be waved by the thousands at the event, to show that many Britons want to undo Brexit and return to the European Union.

75,000 flags
According to the Daily Mail, the pro-EU group “Liverpool for Europe” was presented with a whopping 75,000 EU flags for Saturday’s event, which will be broadcast live around the world by the BBC and television channels such as ORF

“We have called on people to wave EU flags in front of the arena during the semi-finals, but on Saturday, when the crowd is at its peak, we will bring as many flags as possible into the stadium,” announced one of the activists.

As the winner of the ESC 2022, Ukraine should have hosted the competition. Due to the ongoing Russian war of aggression against the country, Britain, who finished second in Turin last year with Sam Ryder, stepped in.

The people of Liverpool hope for an image improvement
Liverpool, the birthplace of the legendary Beatles, offered itself as a venue.

The Liverpoolers, or the people of Liverpool, hope for a better image of the ESC. Nearly two thirds (63 percent) indicate in a survey that they hope for a better image of the North West English port city.

That seems badly needed: only about two-fifths (41 percent) have the impression that Liverpool is viewed positively from the outside.

More than half (56 percent) also think that the city is overlooked as a travel destination, according to the survey. According to the survey, Liverpool residents are particularly proud of their culture (40 percent) and clubs and pubs (33 percent).

In addition to the Beatles, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Atomic Kitten also come from Liverpool.
