After the fatal crash of an agricultural tractor in Saalbach-Hinterglemm (Pinzgau/Salzburg), there will be no further investigation. The public prosecutor’s office confirmed this to the Crown on Thursday.
As reported, two local residents (ages 48 and 30) died on Tuesday after a tractor overturned several times. The men were on their way through the valley when the vehicle went off the road.
Possible driving error
The police assume a driving error. It will probably never be possible to say which of the two was behind the wheel. Because: No autopsy or expert report was ordered. For the Salzburg public prosecutor it is clear: “Both parties involved are deceased. There are no indications of a technical defect in the tractor.”
