A driver was flown to hospital by a rescue helicopter with injuries after an accident in Aschbach (Amstetten district) on Friday evening. According to the command of the Amstetten district fire brigade, the man had gone off the road and touched several trees and traffic control installations.
It is not yet clear why the car left the roadway. After the man crashed into several trees and traffic controllers with his car, the vehicle finally came to a stop in a meadow.

The driver was flown by ÖAMTC emergency helicopter to a hospital in Linz. Two fire brigades were deployed with 30 members.
