The cleaning work at the Urfahranermarkt in Linz turned into a wet affair on Friday evening: when an employee tried to dismantle a fire hydrant, a huge water fountain was created. The fire brigade had to be alerted.
An employee of the Urfahranermarkt in Linz has experienced that disassembly work does not always run smoothly. A reader-reporter from “Krone” watched a huge water fountain in the market area for almost half an hour on Friday – see the video.
The fire department had to shut off the water
After the spring market closed its doors again last Sunday, one of the employees was busy dismantling a water tap. In vain: a huge fountain was activated. The security service was forced to alert the fire brigade to be able to shut off the water as quickly as possible with a specially designed key.
The mechanic affected by the water fountain now has to wait and see: I hope he didn’t catch a cold during the breakdown.
