More than 70,000 Ukrainians will have temporary protection in Spain in a few days

ALICANTE, MARCH 31 (EFE) – More than 30,000 people from Ukraine already have temporary protection status in Spain and it is expected that this figure will reach 70,000 “in a few days,” said Pedro Sanchez, the prime minister of Alicante.

At the end of a visit to the reception, care and referral center for displaced Ukrainians in the city of Light in Alicante, one of the few that the government has opened with Pozuelo de Alarcon (Madrid), Barcelona and Malaga to alleviate the crisis.
