A 56-year-old Styrian was riding his e-scooter on Via Latisana in Lignano Sabbiadoro on Saturday afternoon when he collided with an Italian cyclist and fell. He fell with his head on the asphalt!
Helicopter had to fly twice
Due to the severe injuries, first aid, rescue and helicopters were required. First, the unconscious Styrian was flown to Latisana Hospital, and then to Trieste Cattinara Hospital.
The Italian was slightly injured. Further investigations are underway.
