Shortly before midnight, rescue and police forces were called to a multi-party building in Graz-Mariatrost after a person fell from the first floor. Closer investigation revealed that the 52-year-old from Graz fell from a height of about eight meters from the terrace onto a glass surface below.
According to the partner (58) and a neighbor (64), the neighbors had just had a good conversation and had a drink together. When the 52-year-old finally got up and went to the terrace railing, he suddenly fell down.
Multiple fractures and internal injuries
The 64-year-old immediately provided first aid and notified emergency services. The 52-year-old received first aid from an emergency doctor and was taken to the Graz Regional Hospital after stabilization. According to inside information, the man may have suffered multiple fractures and some internal injuries. The 52-year-old is being treated in intensive care. Relatives were taken care of by the crisis intervention team.
The exact circumstances of the accident are the subject of an ongoing investigation. So far, however, there is no evidence of third-party debt.
