After two traffic accidents in Bregenz, the capital of the state of Vorarlberg, in which children were hit by cars and sometimes seriously injured, a four-year-old girl was also arrested in Lustenau on Saturday.
At about 3 pm, the girl was playing with her seven-year-old brother in Lustenau in the parking lot on Bahnhofstrasse. Suddenly the girl decided to switch to the sidewalk on the other side of the road and suddenly ran onto the road.
At the time, a previously unknown motorist in his Mercedes-Benz, which police said was likely white, was driving on Bahnhofstrasse in the direction of L 203. As the little girl ran out into the street, she was hit by the car, fell to the ground and was injured to an unknown extent.
The driver of the vehicle has been involved in a collision! Any witnesses are therefore requested to contact the Lustenau Police Inspectorate on 059133/8144.
