On the benches, get to work! This year, from September 21 to October 8, the Kaiser Wiesn enters its second round! Tickets for Austria’s largest Oktoberfest are already available in the “Krone” ticket shop!
O’Zapft is! After the huge crowds with almost 380,000 visitors last year, the Kaiser Wiesn in the heart of Vienna will once again celebrate Austrian customs and local culture for 18 days this year. From September 21 to October 8, Austria’s largest Oktoberfest is held in the Wiener Wurstelprater and offers everything the Kaiser Wiesn heart desires from young to old.
Three large party tents and five rustic “Almen” on more than 20,000 square meters on the Kaiserwiese in Vienna’s Prater provide a pure Wiesn atmosphere for fans of folk music, schlager and fun.
A colorful program ensures a relaxed atmosphere: enthusiastic rockers can indulge themselves at “Rock die Kaiser Wiesn”, women in dirndls can get together at the Sisi party and the elderly can listen to the hit trio “Die Edlseer” on two senior days. . Regional dishes and drinks from Wiesbauer, Gösser and many more ensure culinary delights.
It is clear that last year’s recipe for success will warm up the tents and alpine pastures on the Praterwiese again this autumn.
Much-requested tickets are already on sale in the Krone ticket shop, after which we have to wait for the start of this year’s Kaiser Wiesn on September 21.
