The state of Salzburg explained: The bear was hit by a train on Tuesday morning on the railway line between Schwarzach and Lend and killed. The left rear leg was nearly severed on impact and head injuries were extensive.
But: the bear didn’t look like it had been hit by a train with full force. And: The fact that the animal remained between the tracks and no serious injuries could be seen on the body, arouses suspicion among many people.
