Wild scenes took place early Wednesday evening in Wörgl in the Tyrolean Unterland: a group of young people who had been near a staircase enraged a resident (57) so much that he fired a shot with an empty gun. The suspect had previously been attacked by a girl with an umbrella.
The scene of the wild altercation was a stairwell located directly behind a shopping center and leading to apartments. A few young people between the ages of 14 and 17 were present shortly before 6 p.m. – and that was a thorn in the side of the 57-year-old.
Attack with an umbrella
“The man apparently asked the young people to leave the stairs several times,” said the police. But they didn’t even think to listen to the residents. On the contrary. “A girl then hit the 57-year-old on the head with an umbrella,” the detectives continued.
Gun taken from apartment
The local residents, in turn, did not want to put up with that. “The suspect took a stun gun from his apartment and fired into the air.” The youths then fled and alerted the police.
She eventually confronted the 57-year-old. He was given a temporary gun ban. The gun and ammunition have been seized. Appropriate advertisements will follow.
