A motorist from the district of Horn (Lower Austria) left the road in Horn for unknown reasons on Thursday, broke through a gate and drove into the building of the training center of a construction company. The driver was trapped in the wrecked car and was seriously injured.
The 18-year-old driver was on Thursday evening on the ring road B2 Hoorn. Suddenly the young man went off the road and crashed into the training room of a construction company. Before that, he smashed through the fence of the company, drove through the glass front of the building and crashed into a partition wall, resulting in a hole.

The driver was trapped in the wrecked car and had to be freed by the emergency services. When the fire brigade arrived at the scene of the accident, they were stunned and at the same time wondered how the vehicle could get so deep into the building. A total of three fire brigades with 37 members and nine vehicles were deployed. The seriously injured man was then taken to hospital.
The cause of the accident shortly after 7:30 p.m. is still unclear. Due to the severity of the injuries, it was not possible to conduct an alcohol test.
