A currently unknown man is believed to have brutally robbed at least three tobacconists and souvenir shops in central Vienna between April and May 2023. So far there is no trace of the suspect. The police have now released the first mugshots.
The robberies all took place just before closing time, when there were no other customers in the stores. He stormed into the stores, threatened the employees with a knife and demanded money. The suspect stole a large amount of money.
No injuries
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incidents. Police have now released mugshots of the suspects. Witnesses who have noticed the suspect before, during or after his escape are asked to contact the police.
