Drones on Moscow – Wagner boss over the Kremlin: “Stinky creatures!”

Date:

The head of the notorious Russian mercenary group Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has commented on the drone attack on Moscow (we reported). He again criticized the Russian Defense Ministry. It’s no secret that his relationship with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu is not the best. And the language of “Putin’s cook” was exciting again – his words are laced with the Russian mother curse.

The Russian Mother’s Curse, also called Mat, is an obscene register of Russian slang. The vulgar words are much more taboo in Russian than German swear words and are considered absolutely frowned upon. Their effect is all the stronger if you use them. In Prigozhin’s case, they show the great anger he feels.

Ministry of Defense “incompetent”
“What are you stinking creatures doing? You are assholes,” he said angrily. “Get out of your office where you defend this country,” he continued shooting. “You are the Department of Defense! You have done the devil,” he said, blaming officials for allowing enemy drones to get through to Moscow.

It doesn’t bother him that the drones have already arrived in Rublevka (the residential area of Moscow, where many important Russian personalities live – including Russian President Vladimir Putin himself, editor’s note). “Let your houses burn,” he complained. He only cares about the fate of ordinary citizens. “What should civilians do if drones carrying explosives crash into their windows?” he asked.

He is convinced that people have every right to ask them questions. “Those bastards,” he finally said. Prigozhin’s press service published the comment verbatim.

Drone attack on Russian capital
Moscow was attacked by multiple drones on Tuesday. Russia’s Defense Ministry blamed Ukraine for the early morning attack, Russian news agencies reported. The adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Mykhailo Podoliak, denied his country’s involvement, but expressed delight at the attacks.

The government in Kiev has not yet confirmed any attacks in Russia – not even when two drones exploded over the Kremlin a little less than four weeks ago. According to a report in the New York Times, US intelligence agencies consider Ukraine’s involvement possible.

According to the Ministry of Defense in Moscow, the capital was attacked by eight unmanned aerial vehicles, all of which were destroyed. In the Russian media, the number of drones varied between four and 25. Authorities in Moscow reported two injuries and minor damage to buildings. President Putin did not initially comment.

The worst attack since World War II
In view of the incidents, Russian politicians called for unity. Russian MP Maxim Ivanov spoke of the worst attack on Moscow since World War II. Citizens could not ignore the “new reality”. “Either you defeat the enemy together with our fatherland, or the indelible shame of cowardice, collaboration and betrayal will come upon your family.”
