It all started around 1:30 am because the 22-year-old wanted to steal her own mother’s wallet. Because she occasionally stayed with her mother, she also had a key to the apartment in Klagenfurt. The young woman’s 49-year-old mother tried to prevent the theft. The situation escalated: “The young woman lashed out wildly and bit the mother’s forearms several times,” the police said.
Escape from the window
Finally, the 49-year-old let go of her wallet, the daughter managed to steal all the money from it and fled through the window of the apartment on the ground floor, whereupon the mother alerted the police. “We tried to catch the daughter – without success. An entry and approach ban has been issued against them,” a police officer tells the “Krone”. She is now charged with theft.
So far it is unclear what she needed the money for, but this should be clarified in the course of the investigations.
