Against the will of the owner: a drunken 17-year-old petted a Staffordshire terrier at a festival in Lower Austria until it snapped. Now the owner is being threatened with a complaint.
For a dog owner, the behavior of a 17-year-old can have serious consequences. At a party in Lichtenau in the Krems district, the young man petted the 36-year-old Staffordshire terrier while he was completely drunk. Although the woman asked him several times to finally stop, the teenager did not let go of her four-legged friend – until he finally had enough.
The owner has filed a report
The terrier, which is on the list of dogs, bit the boy in the face, said to have had about two in a thousand. While the 17-year-old had to be treated in hospital, the dog owner is now facing legal consequences.
Because a dog bite automatically triggers a notification. In addition to the wounds sustained, it is also about complying with the muzzle obligation. The case is now with the prosecutor’s office.
