Three Hungarians caused a stir in Carinthia on Friday with a particularly daring and illegal action. In the middle of the day, the men jumped with parachutes from the Granitztal motorway bridge.
The drivers probably couldn’t believe their eyes when they suddenly saw three men throwing themselves off the more than 100-meter high Granitztal highway bridge around 3 p.m. Friday. Immediately after the jump, the base jumpers’ parachutes opened and landed in a green area under the bridge.
After eyewitnesses called the police, several patrols left. “The men between the ages of 27 and 43 were still on the scene. You will be reported,” the police said.
