The BEC houses the General Administration OPE with 4,800 applications for 97 positions

The Bilbao Exhibition Center (BEC) is organizing the consolidation tests of the public employment of the General Board at various scale levels for which 4800 applications have been submitted choose 97 places that are offered

Between Saturday and Sunday are the exams for the places of laboratory, public health and epidemiology, archives, library and documentation, and social and occupational careas reported by the Department of Public Administration and Self-Government in a note.

Testing will continue next week and until the end of the month seventeen other scales and job categorieswith more than 5,000 applications submitted to opt for 126 placeswhich will take place in the Palacio Europa and UNED headquarters in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

The functions to be covered are from the scales of medicine, legal expert, agriculture, industry, environment, human resources and training, pharmacy, emergency and meteorology, health and environmental inspection, cultural administration, press and publications, veterinary medicine, informatics management and information Systems.

In addition, there has been a call for 21 reserved places workers of the Labor Collective Labor Agreement at the service of the Administration of the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV), all evoked by the exceptional process of consolidation.

In the series of the four calls for the process of public employment consolidation that started last September There are 138 processes called in which around 90,000 valid requests.

At the end of the process, “all vacancies that can be offered” will have been called up within the consolidation processes based on the Basque law of solids and scales and about 3,700 vacancies will have been filled by salaried civil servants, and in some permanent employment cases.

The consolidation process launched by the Basque government intends to bring the percentage of temporary employment in the administration below 8% and “will make it possible to reach the target of not perpetuating the high temporary situation” in the general administration of the BAC.
