The school year is coming to an end and the next one is certainly coming, also for international exchange students. Why they especially like to stay with host families in Burgenland and to what extent they benefit from the native speakers – the “Krone” spoke to one of them.
16-year-old Nicholas from Brazil would like to be a guest student in Burgenland from September to learn German. He is looking for an open-minded host family through the international school exchange organization “Student Travel Schools” (STS). There are a striking number of them in Burgenland – for example in Neusiedl, Weiden am See, Mattersburg and Eisenstadt, says Birgit Meisterl, head of the Austrian office.
