A nasty surprise for many train travelers in Tyrol on Saturday morning: the Brenner route between Innsbruck and Steinach had to be closed due to a tree in the overhead line.
A rail replacement service has been set up by the ÖBB for local transport. Long-distance trains had to or had to wait for the duration of the block. ÖBB posted on Twitter that the ban is expected to last until 1pm.
Train to Rimini cancelled
