E-bike stolen, cannabis in backpack, plus more than 1 in a thousand intus: A cyclist who is anything but precise with the laws was caught by the police in the Tyrolean Unterland on Friday evening. He was noticed by the patrol for driving hands-free and without lights on the main road.
It wasn’t just a crazy idea, it was more than one. On Friday evening around 9:30 p.m., a 22-year-old cyclist on Loferer Bundesstraße near Söll (Kufstein district) was targeted by a police patrol because he was riding without a light and without a hand.

A breathalyzer test showed a value of more than 1 promille for the local population. But that is not everything: “Eventually, a few grams of weed were found in the man’s backpack and seized,” the police said.

The suspect then also admitted that he stole the e-bike he was using in 2021. The bicycle has been seized. Appropriate advertisements will follow.
