The Basque government’s Emantzipa program envisages direct monthly financial support for two years for young people between the ages of 25 and 29, with an annual income between 3,000 and 28,000 euros.
The aid of 300 euros to support the emancipation processes of young people aged between 25 and 29 will take effect early next year, after this Tuesday lehendakari, Iñigo Urkullu, launched the decree of prior approval of the Emantzipa program that regulates it.
According to the established procedure and calendar, the articulated text of the decree specifying the general conditions of the aid, the requirements to be met by the beneficiaries, the compatibility framework with other aids, the amount thereof, the maximum number of beneficiaries per dwelling or under more the subsidy procedure.
The Emantzipa program provides direct financial support of 300 euros per month for two years for young people between the ages of 25 and 29 who are or will start an emancipation process and whose annual income is between 3,000 and 28,000 euros.
The aim of this program is to reduce the average age of emancipation to below 28 years and to increase the emancipation rate to 50% by 2030.
Beneficiaries must be registered in the Basque Country the year prior to the application and prove three years of registration in the last ten years. For young people who emancipate themselves as a couple or live together, a reduction is applied to the amount that could possibly befall them separately.
