A teenager (18) was walking with his friends in the Praterstern neighborhood on Saturday night when he was suddenly attacked with a knife by a group of 15 people. The victim was taken to hospital, according to police.
After the attack near the metro station around 2:30 am, only the victim was still on site. The suspects had already fled. The 18-year-old received emergency medical attention from the Viennese professional rescue service at the crime scene, the Viennese police reported on Saturday.
The murder weapon was secured
According to the victim, one of the 15 attackers pulled out a knife and injured his upper arm. An immediately started search yielded nothing. The suspected murder weapon has been seized.
The teenager had to be taken to Spittal because of his stab wound.
