A large-scale search was then started in this area. The police helicopter was also deployed. Around 3:30 p.m., there was sad certainty. The 70-year-old was killed in a Found stream bed of a tributary of the Parseierbach.

The hiker may have fallen and suffered fatal injuries. An investigation is underway into the exact course of the accident.
