On Sunday, Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin reported via audio message – it was the first real sign of life from him since his “March of Justice” to Moscow. Now his new whereabouts should be known.
Prigozhin’s private jet is believed to have landed at Makhulishchi military airport in the Belarusian capital Minsk, according to the Belarusian Gajun monitoring group. The landing took place at 07:40 local time.
“Another business jet arrived there,” it said a short time later. The plane came from Saint Petersburg.
On Sunday, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced in a televised speech that the Wagner mercenaries could also travel to Belarus if they did not agree to join the Russian Defense Ministry or end military service. According to the ruler, Prigozhin is also leaving for Belarus. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov had already announced on Saturday that Putin’s cook would be in Belarus in the future.
More coming soon…
