Found on the sidewalk – man (37) threw dog from balcony in Vienna – dead

A terrible act took place in Vienna-Floridsdorf on Monday evening. A man (37) is said to have thrown a French bulldog off his balcony. The dog was found lifeless on the sidewalk by passersby.

It was around 7:30 p.m. when witnesses alerted the police: an Austrian would have thrown his dog from his balcony and the animal was found lifeless on the sidewalk. The officers immediately went to the apartment of the 37-year-old. The suspect initially denied the crime before explaining that the dog bit him and therefore threw him off the balcony.

In addition to the terrible act, the Viennese police officers found something else: they discovered cannabis plants in the apartment. The man was reported on suspicion of animal abuse and under the Narcotics Act.
