Major search on Thursday evening at Weerberg in the Tyrolean district of Schwaz: An 80-year-old woman with health problems had disappeared without a trace. During the operation, the pensioner was found injured in a ditch in the woods near her home.
At around 7:15 p.m., the 80-year-old resident was reported missing to the police. The woman was last seen in the early morning. Because an accident was to be feared, a major search was immediately launched, in which several police patrols, the police helicopter, the voluntary fire brigade and numerous residents of the municipality of Weerberg took part.

The pensioner was finally found around 9 p.m. The woman was injured in a ditch in a densely wooded forest – very close to her home address.
With an emergency helicopter to the clinic
The 80-year-old was eventually rescued, received first aid at the scene and then flown to the Innsbruck clinic by helicopter “Heli 3”. It is not known how badly the woman was injured.
