On Saturday evening, an argument between three men escalated at the Lerchenfelder Gurtel in Vienna. The result: a 28-year-old suffered a stab wound to his thigh, the 39-year-old suffered a head wound and the third in the group was unharmed.
It is currently unclear how the dispute could have escalated to such an extent. In any case, not only did the two men get into a fight, a knife was involved.
The 27-year-old attacked the 28-year-old with a knife and the 28-year-old headbutted the 39-year-old. Officials in a passing patrol car saw what was happening and abruptly stopped the event.
