The judge of the Higher Regional Court declared the current decision in the first judgment of the Innsbruck Regional Court that the limited mental health of the accused was not sufficiently taken into account. The verdict was therefore final.
Numerous stab and cut wounds
In November 2021, the woman attacked her father with a kitchen knife in Neustift in the Stubai Valley, inflicting numerous stab and cut wounds on him, the consequences of which ultimately led to the death of the 57-year-old. The defendant confessed to the crime before the court of first instance.
She “stabbed and killed him,” locals said. When she visited his apartment, the father was “drunk and becoming increasingly aggressive,” the young woman told the jury at the time.
