A truck suddenly caught fire in Amstetten (Lower Austria) on Tuesday afternoon. Workers’ initial attempts to extinguish the fire were unsuccessful – two people had to be taken to hospital with injuries.
The vehicle fire broke out on Tuesday at the Ardagger industrial estate. “On arrival, the trailer was half full on fire,” reports the district fire brigade. After the workers’ initial attempts to extinguish the blaze failed, the flames were quickly extinguished after emergency services arrived.
After the fire, the clean-up work followed, the four fire brigades were busy for several hours. Two people had to be taken to hospital with injuries.
