Shock for a German (26) on Sunday during a bike ride in Breitenwang in Tyrol! An unknown cyclist punched the woman in the face as she passed, apparently for no reason. The 26-year-old suffered an eye injury. The police are now looking for the culprit.
At around 9:25 am, the cyclist and three compatriots rode a gravel road from Reutte towards Garmisch. “The group encountered a cyclist who hit the 26-year-old in the face with his hand as he passed,” police said.
Companion pushed into the ditch
Two of her companions immediately turned around and chased the unknown cyclist because they wanted to confront him. But he pushed one of the men into a ditch.
Injured bystanders
And an uninvolved pedestrian was injured by the rugged, approximately 40-year-old man with short dark hair and a conspicuously puffy face on his left knee and right arm as he tried to apprehend the fugitive. The stranger managed to escape.
