During a major house search in Zahmer Kaiser (Tyrol), only the body of a 62-year-old German was found by the Alpine police on Monday afternoon. The man had had an accident near the top of the pyramid.
The German was reported missing by his daughter on Sunday and the police launched a major search on Monday morning. “We found his car in a parking lot in Durchholzen,” Christoph Silberberger, head of the Kufstein Alpine Police, told the “Tiroler Krone”. In the car was a parking ticket purchased on Friday.
15 alpine police officers on duty
As the investigation as part of the search revealed, the German was alone in the area of the pyramid tip. 15 Alpine police officers and the Libelle Tirol searched intensively for the missing person on Monday.
“We then found him dead between Vorderer Kessel Schneid and Rosskaiser in the municipality of Walchsee,” Silberberger informs. The German apparently fell to his death some 160 meters from a rugged and brittle mountain ridge. The dragonfly has recovered the body, a crisis intervention team is taking care of the next of kin.
