A 28-year-old man was on the road in a rough way on Wednesday evening. After kicking the side mirror of a taxi, an argument ensued between the taxi driver and the rioter. During the argument, the man even attacked the taxi driver with a razor blade that he had previously hidden in his mouth. A reporter from “Krone” was live on site and reported.
The incident happened at 11:40 p.m. in Simmeringer Hauptstrasse. A reading reporter happened to be driving by and saw two men yelling at each other in the street. The taxi driver and the man attacked each other. A short time later, emergency services arrived and separated the two brawlers.

Then officials discovered that the taxi driver had superficial cuts. During the interrogation it emerged that the argumentative Syrian drove in front of the taxi driver’s vehicle at an intersection on Simmeringer Hauptstrasse. The taxi driver then got out of the vehicle and jumped out. During the argument, the man kicked the side mirror of the taxi, which only further flared up. Eventually a scuffle ensued.

The Syrian then suddenly pulled out a razor blade and attacked the Austrian, slitting his face and neck. The belligerent’s mouth served as a creative shelter for the blade.
Even a police dog was deployed to find the razor near the crime scene. She was seized by the agents. The taxi driver was taken to hospital with superficial injuries. The suspect is in police custody. The Simmering City Police Command is investigating.
