On Wednesday afternoon, a man with a severely bleeding wound on his upper arm appeared at a police station in Vienna-Favoriten and called for help. A man had previously stabbed him with a knife and then fled.
Officials immediately administered first aid and alerted rescuers. WEGA also came to look for the fugitive suspect. Fortunately, other witnesses were able to provide more information about the suspect’s whereabouts.
Broken bottle neck
A short time later, officers managed to arrest a 24-year-old man. The officers managed to secure a broken bottleneck in the crime scene area, which was allegedly used for the crime.
The injured victim was taken to hospital by ambulance. The arrested suspect is currently in police custody.
