Accident drama in Vienna-Floridsdorf: Around 1:40 am Sunday evening, a young woman fell from a balcony on the fourth floor of an apartment building. She succumbed to her serious injuries at the scene of the accident.
It was a ‘game’ with a fatal outcome: the woman was with three friends – a 20-year-old woman and two men (20, 21) – in the apartment. According to the Vienna police, the 20-year-old tried to get from one balcony to the adjoining balcony during a match and fell four floors in the process.
Crisis intervention team took care of friends
The emergency services were immediately alerted, the Viennese professional rescue service immediately took first aid, but the woman succumbed to her serious injuries on the spot. The police officers informed the crisis intervention team, which took care of the three friends on the spot.
Shortly before, there was also a fall from a building in Vienna-Hernals. A three-year-old fell from a second-story window. Fortunately, the little one survived the accident and was taken to hospital. His life is not in danger – the mother was not in the apartment at the time of the incident.
