The army has now been instructed to better protect the port infrastructure.
The Russian side dropped the deal on Monday to ship Ukrainian grain across the Black Sea. However, there were also reports of airstrikes from areas other than Odessa. The Russian Ministry of Defense had announced its intention to retaliate for the damaged bridge to the Crimean peninsula.
