A beech trunk came loose from a cable winch during transport in Reichraming (Upper Austria), hit a forest worker. The 34-year-old could not be saved, he succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident.
A Bosnian citizen (34) was carrying out forestry work with two colleagues in Reichraming. He hung a felled beech and ash from a steep winch in the steep terrain. Using the radio, he asked the engineer to transport the trees up the mountain.

He was slanted under the cable car when the trunk slid out of the winch. The 34-year-old forest worker tried to dodge but was hit by the tree and seriously injured. Despite immediate first aid from the rescue and emergency doctor, the man died at the scene of the accident.
