Bizkaia has finally released its income tax returns data. The campaign ended with a balance of -90 million euros. The final result for Álava was also negative, while Gipuzkoa and Navarra had a positive balance.
The Bizkaia Foral Treasury today released the results of the Revenue campaign 2022. In this way we add the data of the four territories of Hego Euskal Herria, the haciendas have returnedtotal, 1,223.7 million of euros.
Biscay it had a negative balance of 90 million euros in this last revenue campaign; that is, it has had to return 90 million more than it imported. Specifically, the revenues of the Bizkaia Foral Treasury amounted to 414 million and returned 503.8 million euros.
In case of Araba, the campaign also ended with a negative result. The Foral Treasury returned a total of €140 million to taxpayers, while it imported €114 million. Therefore, in the 2022 revenue campaign, it has achieved a negative balance of almost 26 million euros.
On the contrary, the estates of Gipuzkoa and Navarra ended with a positive balance. Guipuzkoa It imported 39.6 million more than it brought back. Specifically, it returned 334.2 million euros and its income was 373.9 million.
Finally, the Foral Treasury of Navarre returned EUR 245.7 million to citizens. The turnover amounted to 257.1 million, so the campaign ended with a net balance of 11.4 million euros.
In total there have been 1,614,280 income statements in the four territories: 189,182 in Álava, 653,723 in Bizkaia, 401,749 in Gipuzkoa and 369,626 in Navarra.
