Two accidents occurred on Friday on the S6, the Semmering Expressway, near Kindberg/Wartberg (Styria). The fire service had to turn out, three motorists were injured.
Around noon, the Kindberg-Stadt volunteer fire brigade was first alerted: a car had left the road at Kindberg-Ost and ended up in the ditch. The vehicle has been recovered, the two occupants, a man (53) and a woman (51), were injured.
Two hours later, a car with a trailer crashed into the concrete guardrail at Wartberg and came to a stop in the middle of the road. The fire brigade had to secure the scene of the accident. The car and trailer have been recovered and towed away from the danger zone. The driver was injured to an unknown extent.
During the operation, the S 6 towards Vienna was completely blocked.
