Smoke suddenly billowed from the engine compartment of the radio car. A reader-reporter from “Krone” was able to capture the spectacular scenes on camera.
The head-on collision happened around 11:10 a.m. Monday. The injured driver of the car received first aid from the Vienna Professional Rescue Service and was taken to a hospital. “Due to the collision, smoke arose in the engine compartment of the radio car,” the Viennese police said on Monday afternoon.
