A terrible bloody act took place in a residential building in Nickelsdorf (Burgenland) on Friday. A man would have killed both his parents. The 33-year-old is said to have committed suicide. A possible motive for the crime is not yet known.
At 8:37 a.m., police received a panicked 911 call from a witness. According to his statements, he saw a man lying in a garden and a shot was heard in front of him.
Parents were alive when rescuers arrived
When the police arrived on the scene, they found three people on the premises being the parents and their son. Father and mother (aged 67 and 59) were alive when rescuers arrived, but later died on the spot from their serious injuries. The son was already dead.
