Incredibly cowardly: a driver drove a Grazer near the Postgarage event center on Sunday evening. After the incident, the driver, who could have come from Villach (Carinthia), fled.
The best hits of the 80s were on the program in the Postgarage on Saturday evening. The format, which has been popular for years, always attracts many guests. A 27-year-old also wanted to go to the post garage around 1 a.m. and therefore crossed Rösselmühlgasse.
Hit and run: motorist did not help
At that moment, however, a dark car – presumably with a Villach license plate – turned from Dreihackengasse (coming from the direction of the Postgarage) into Rosselmühlgasse and grabbed the 27-year-old at the front left of the vehicle. The man was thrown into the street. But instead of providing assistance, the driver drove on without stopping. This is confirmed by witnesses to the incident, according to the police.
The victim came to the ambulance in the LKH Graz, he should have escaped with minor injuries. Now the police are looking for information about the fugitive driver: contact Traffic Inspectorate 1 of the Graz Police at number 59 133/65-4110.
