A 32-year-old Innsbruck resident was targeted by brutal thugs late Monday night. The victim was knocked down – a bottle was also pulled over his head. The man suffered serious injuries. The perpetrators went into hiding.
It was shortly before 10:30 p.m. before the violent attack Under-der-Lan-Strasse in the east of the city. After an initial verbal argument, four people believed to have attacked the 32-year-old resident.

“The four unknown men punched the victim several times in the face and hit him on the back of the head with a bottle,” police said. After the attack, the perpetrators fled.
An immediately started search yielded nothing. The seriously injured 32-year-old had to be taken by ambulance to the clinic in Innsbruck.
