Six foreign tourists have been arrested on the Spanish holiday island of Mallorca for alleged rape. The five French and one Swiss are accused of raping an 18-year-old girl in a hotel room in the holiday resort of Magaluf.
According to Spanish police, the crime happened in the early hours of Monday morning. Hotel workers became aware of the desperate woman screaming for help and alerted security forces, Spanish media reported. According to the British “Daily Mail”, the victim is a British woman.

She may have agreed to go into one of the suspects’ rooms. The other suspects were waiting there and allegedly assaulted the woman. According to the newspaper Ultima Hora, traces of fixation were found on the arms and legs of the British woman. The alleged perpetrators, who apparently also recorded the attacks with a smartphone, are detained.
There are currently several German holidaymakers accused of a similar act. The men allegedly abused a young woman from Germany in a hotel in Palma.
