Horror experience for a young tourist in the “City of Love”: After visiting a bar in Paris, an offender allegedly brutally attacked the Austrian on the street.
The alleged victim spent a pleasant evening with a friend on Tuesday evening at the “Chez Prune” bar on the Saint-Martin Canal, in eastern Paris, popular with night owls. At around 1:40 a.m., the Austrian finally said goodbye to her companion and set out on foot for her accommodation.
The perpetrator chased his victim
After only a few meters, the tourist said she felt she was being followed by a man she did not know. And her gut feeling was confirmed: the suspect suddenly brutally attacked her from behind on the open street, dragged her to the ground and raped her as a result.
The suspect then got on a rental bicycle from the city and drove off. The young Austrian immediately went to the nearest police station and reported the shocking incident. The investigation and hunt for the alleged rapist are in full swing.
