Am Klopeiner See – Former tennis star should get a star

Date:

He wrote sports history, but the recognition for Horst Skoff from Lower Carinthia has so far been denied.

The two Lower Carinthian ski heroes Sabine Egger and Rainer Schönfelder have one, and Larissa Marolt, the piano virtuoso Ingolf Wunder and rower Magdalena Lobnig can also look forward to a star on the Walk of Fame on the north shore of Lake Klopein. But not only successful children from the region were honored with a plaque in the asphalt, DJ Ötzi and Udo Jürgens were also immortalized on the promenade.

Only one great son of South Carinthia is missing: Horst Skoff. There are more and more voices that also want to honor the former tennis star from Kühnsdorf.
