What a start to the week for a 36-year-old from Mühlviertler: He steered the truck with a crane on Traunuferstraße in Haid towards Ansfelden at around 8 a.m. on Monday. Next to the Ansfelden train station, the 36-year-old could not go any further: his vehicle got stuck in a railway underpass.
The 71-year-old who came from the other side at the same time with his car was out of luck. His windshield was damaged by falling debris. There was massive damage to the stalled truck.

It took longer on the street. The volunteer fire brigades in Nettingsdorf and Ansfelden carried out the recovery of the truck with 20 emergency services and cleared the road. The road was not passable again until eleven o’clock, three hours after the accident.
