It is currently one of the hottest topics in the Styrian capital: the possible purchase of the Liebenauer Stadium by SK Sturm. On Friday, the top club will debate this for the first time with the city council. However, a quick agreement is not really in sight yet; there are still too many parameters to be clarified.
The city did not handle this appointment very professionally on Friday: City councilor for Sport Kurt Hohensinner (ÖVP) was invited by telephone by mayor Elke Kahr (KPÖ) – the GAK has only been officially present there since Wednesday.
