Donald Trump has turned himself in to a Georgia jail, charged with 13 counts of attempting to manipulate the 2020 presidential election results. Despite this, the former president has been released after posting $200,000 bail.
This is already the fourth criminal charge against him, but the first to take him to prison. In it, the former president had to complete his police file before he was released.
The main crime he is charged with in the state of Georgia is violating the racketeering law. In addition, he is also accused of colluding to have certain people falsely present themselves as electoral delegates to cement the Republican victory.
Thus, if convicted on all charges, Donald Trump could be sentenced to more than 76 years in prison.
