Kristina Raspopova, 39, was the only woman on the plane that crashed in Russia. As reported, she died along with former Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozchin and his deputy Dmitri Utkin. Many are now asking themselves: who was the lady and why did she have anything to do with warlords? We have the answer.
Kristina was not a family man, her friend Olga told the Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda. She was married once, but then divorced. She had and did not want children. The Russian lived for flying and her work. And she was successful in her job. She earned well and took care of herself. Kristina spent all her money on good food, her looks and vacations. To their favorite destinations, egahlten Jamaica, Singapore and, interestingly enough, Ostar rich!
In 2011, Kristina completed her flight attendant training with Transaero Airlines. Transaero was the second largest Russian airline after Aeroflot, but was shut down in 2015 due to high debts. Kristina was not affected by this bankruptcy because she switched to private jets relatively quickly. “As far as I know, a rich man was waiting for her to finish her studies… But it was definitely not Prigozhin,” recalls Olga.
I didn’t know who she worked for
A few years ago, Kristina got a job at the company “MNT Aero” and moved to Saint Petersburg. Then she started working for the mercenary boss, but did not tell anyone about it. At the end of June 2023, the seriousness of the situation became clear to her. During a telephone conversation, she admitted to Olga: “I don’t even know if I still have to work after all the events. Maybe I will become unemployed and stop flying. Why? Because I work for Yevgeny.” Kristina praised her job and the machine. For her, it was the plane she had always dreamed of.
Pleasant service on board
The job was tough. You had to be available 24/7. And willing to fly to the other side of the world from one moment to the next. Furthermore, the standard program: Kristina was responsible for the food and cleanliness on board. For this she received a nice salary. But Olga didn’t take it lightly. She was afraid that her friend would be harassed on the plane. However, Kristina assured, “You don’t understand, these are not people like that.” These people don’t need it. You don’t want to offend anyone. They just do their thing and you shouldn’t disturb them.”
